According to Pruitt, “An integral part of RaceSLO’s mission is to give back to the community. We have worked closely with the SLO County Parks to make the SLO Ultra a one-of-a-kind event, and we are excited to support their mission of offering the most enjoyable and rewarding recreational experience possible here on California’s Central Coast. We are honored to aid the Sheriff’s Advisory Foundation in their efforts to provide additional support to SLO County Sheriff’s Department and other law enforcement agencies within SLO County. The Grizzly Youth Academy has been helping to reclaim the lives of 16-18 year old high school dropouts, equipping them with life skills, values, education and self-discipline necessary to succeed as productive citizens. We are proud to be a part of these efforts.”

Those who would like to take part in the SLO Ultra events can register at sloultra.com. Friends and families are welcome to join in on the fun – activities, vendors, music and ample parking will make for an unforgettable weekend outdoors.
